Cereal goddess, I mean, goodness

This past Sunday, I got on the scale for my naked weekly weigh-in and discovered that shockingly, I was 6 pounds away from my pre-baby weight. And then, like a message from the universe came the Special K commercial for its lose up to 6 pounds in 2 weeks diet. So Monday I started it. The version with dehydrated strawberries is yummy but I can't get past the memory that this is one of the only cereals I was allowed to eat growing up. And Rice Krispies. Basically, stuff with no sugar. Once a year I was allowed to choose a sugar cereal when we went to the lake house for a week. But only if we had invited guests and my folks didn't want the visiting kids to be miserable.

I remember the first time I went grocery shopping by myself in college. While reaching for the Special K, I realized I could buy whatever I wanted and decided to try Capt'n Crunch. So good.

Wrapped around her finger

Punkinhead is totally a daddy's girl and Buzzkill is a great dad. He takes her for Bjorn walks and gives her the morning bottle so that they get special time together before he goes to work. The best pics of Punkinhead come during that morning time too. When I' m still asleep and drooling.

Big girl bath

It amazes me how much little Punkinhead grows. One day, she's in that tiny crappy baby tub and the next we're buying special expensive seats to use in the regular tub. Apparently, we just pay Babies 'R Us $50 - $75 and the baby gets to move on to the next phase. So, anyway, here are the precious moments documented for prosterity.
