I know when I think about the holidays, two things at the top of my list are Walmart and Subway.
Well, maybe not the top, but I kicked tushie at Walmart on Black Friday and I crave Subway roast beefs more than fortnightly. So, I think about them. Your thinking about them now too, aren't you?
Luckily for us, a terrific frugal blogger (and soon-to-be mommy), The Centsible Sawyer is giving away a $100 Walmart gift card and a $15 Subway gift card.
Check out her YouTube channel as well. She's from my home state and I just love hearing the accent so dear to my heart.
P.S. On a bragging note, I payed $3.26 for 3 12-packs of Caffeine Free Diet Coke at CVS today. It was 3 packs for $11 and I had $7.99 in ECBs from Black Friday shopping to use. Buzzkill LOVES the stuff and I find it drinkable as well, so we go through a good bit in a month. I'm always trying to find a way to pay less then 20 cents a can.

Georgia trip with a side of Auburn
The next highlight was our trip to visit the ol' alma mater - War Eagle! I hadn't been on campus in 4 years, Buzzkill had never visited the campus, and it was high time we got the Punkinhead enrolled! Lots had changed but it still felt like home. We happened to be there on freshman orientation day - how weird is that? Most high schools didn't even have graduation until the following weekend!

We grabbed a lemonade at Toomer's Drugs, bought out the bookstore of cute AU gear, and best of all, met my all time favorite AU friend for lunch and to catch up. One of the best days I've had in a long time!

Mother Daughter Photos
We were able to connect with lots of Georgia friends and it was so special that so many of us are moms now. And moms with daughters! Sons are cool too, but sometimes it's got to be about us chicas!
Mama B and little Miss B were a hit with Punkinhead!

Mama V and her fairy princess. FYI Mama V is looking fantabulous after giving birth to those beautiful boys at the beginning of the month!

Can you say "mini-me?" These girls look just like their mommies, IMO.

Georgia trip; a combined total of 99 years
Okay y'all.....it was an amazing week with lots to blog about and I'm going to have to break it up into segments.
We flew in the day after Punkinhead's 1st birthday, which just happened to be my grandmother's 98th (!!!!!) birthday. Plus, because neither of them has been able to travel, this was the first time great-grandmother and great-granddaughter had ever met in person. Mamaw is right at the top of our most missed Georgia people list.
